What a treat in the middle of a busy city. Shang provided us with a fantastic meal in the middle of our trip to Chicago. I had the pleasure of living in China for 5 years, and finding some incredible Chinese food was great. We loved everything from the drinks and appetizers to the main dishes. Very Americanized - but had to try them the Sichuan Chicken Tenders were awesome. Tender, yet spicy. We really enjoyed them. The fried rice was cooked to perfection, and the string beans were probably my favorite item. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Most importantly the service and kindness from all the staff. Mandy, who welcomed us - and checked in on us throughout our meal deserves extra applause. The rest of the staff checked on us, constantly refilling waters and making sure we were set. We dined shortly before 5 which meant the restaurant was just starting to get busy for dinner. Food was fast, fresh and incredible. Come for the food, stay for the service. Thanks Shang for an awesome meal on our vacation in Chicago!
