After a while of internal argument whether or not to go there as a result of doubting if it will fill me up or not. I found myself infront of their door after a hard day and decided to give them a shot. When I entered I was greeted by their iconic red bus that takes the majority of the shop. I like the decor of the place which is really interesting. Fresh, if I must say so!
The people working there are really friendly (the cashier, chef, owner all of them). When I saw the menu (new one) I was surprised they only had 20 variety of sandwiches vs the old menu that's currently on Zomato yet I was informed that we can still order from the same old one (except the Pain Perdu that was removed).
Moving to the food, I ordered 4 sandwiches to get to try them and thought to myself I'll order more since they won't make me stuffed. I went for the Caramelized Burger, Caramelized Steak (with BBQ), Steak with Rocca (forgot its name + BBQ instead of mayo), and Mushroom Chicken (Honey mustard instead of mayo). After a while I was called to pick up the plate from the bus (self-service concept). They offered me free chips (Thank you for the generosity but if I knew I wouldn't have accepted as I'm allergic to potatoes).
I started with the Mushroom Chicken that amazed me with its juiciness and the authenticity of the grilling flavor (They grill their meat), it's clearly of superior quality for the price and I noticed as I told them not to put sauce (as mayo is used) and even so it was juicy and tender! Next was the Caramelized burger that quite surprised me (coming from a gourmet burger lover) followed by the two steak sandwiches. All of which I recommend and are amazing and yummy.
Their concept: Would you get a sandwich and get stuffed while regretting not getting to try something else? Or would you rather get a chance to eat from everything?
About an hour ~ two later I came back as I wanted to sample their Veggie Pizza sandwich that's their only sandwich I think heated and melty but was awesome. Plus their Nutella, Whipped Cream, Oreo and Flake sandwich (Called Something Different).
P.S Half into the first sandwiched I knew I made a mistake of ordering 4 sandwiches! Trust me, this is coming from a person that could eat 3 burgers in a row, you can easily get full with 3-4 sandwiches! Remember to keep space for dessert as their "something different" sandwich is really something different, the combination of Nutella and whipped cream is out of the world, Flake and Oreo used in it add a crunchy aftertaste.
Highly Recommended place for a lunch or breakfast!
