Came in here for a drink, as it also advertised itself as 'dog friendly'. Dog barely-tolerant would be more accurate. We sat near a door and my wife had to put our dog on her lap, as the only other option would have been as a trip hazard in the doorway. For approximately 0.5 seconds our dog's paws touched the upholstery, but was seen by one of the bar staff, who told us he should be on the floor (as I've already said, wasn't really an option). Then made us feel incredibly welcome by coming back into the room every couple of minutes to make sure we were adhering to the rules (we were). I also ordered two bottles of Coke Zero in a pint glass, to be told there were no pint glasses. Imagine my surprise when my pint of beer arrived in a pint glass. Service: 2

When we visit York, we try to make sure that we include a visit to the Minster Inn, they have a good selection of local beers, but the main attraction is the Pizza's, they are fantastic! Also, the service is very good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30
