Update to original review: Jackie the owner reached out immediately and was super friendly and understanding of our experiences with this particular employee. She handled the situation very well and acknowledged that his actions were not the experience she hoped to provide her guests. We came in this past Sunday and I was able to meet her in person. We had a wonderful delicious brunch with great service! The biggest change in my review is that you can tell that Jackie is passionate about her business and cares about the experiences her guests have. It is not my intentions to bash a local restaurant and since Jackie was so pleasant and quick to make the situation better, I wanted to update my review and we will be back more often! Thanks for the hospitality Jackie! The gentleman that works here, mid-30's, is arrogant, rude, and makes you feel as if you are a burden. Went in on I believe a Tuesday evening, saw the sign that said 'please wait to be seated' so waited by the entrance, when he approached, I told him we had 6 people. He aggressively threw his hands up in the air (over exaggerated) and said "I don't know when I am going to be able to seat you, I mean c'mon this is a bar, not a restaurant". Funny, cause the name of the establishment you are employed at is the Mint Bar and GRILL. On another occasion, a while back, I asked for a mojito and he was very rude about it so I went with another drink that wasn't too difficult for him to make (again, treats customers as a burden). We have dined here many times, and whenever he is working, we are instantly not looking forward to the experience we are going to receive. Advice to management: Work with this guy on his customer service skills. He is very hard to approach and does not provide a good experience. Maybe it is his personality, but goodness gracious. No one wants to be treated like that when they are paying for a service.

Haley! My goodness, thus sounds like such an awful experience. I am so sorry that you left here feeling worse than when you came in! I can assure you that this is exactly the opposite of the vibe we are going for. Please, (please!) email me your contact information. Mine is: jackie@tgemintbarandgrill.com I am dying to make this right.
