"THE WORST RESTAURANT EVER"
I went with two of my friends from Thailand to eat dinner,
1) the starter dish we picked was a plate of falafel balls the falafel tasted like someone just made falafel for their very first time, the falafel was over fried and the falafel was very mooshy inside
2) my friend got a plate of spaghetti and she ate a 1/4 of the plate because it tasted nothing close to spaghetti .
3) my other friend got a plate of salmon fish but the salmon had no taste it looks like they took a piece of salmon and cooked it without any seasoning.
4) and then I had a order of shakshuka the shakshuka came in a pot and I was like great because that's the right way to serve shakshuka just like in Israel, but the only problem was first of all the shakshuka didn't have any spices on top and the tomatoes were like pasta sauce so basically their shakshuka is pasta sauce and eggs and also the shakshuka wasn't spicy it tasted like pasta sauce.
And THE EGGS WERE RAW.
5) SO I SHOWED THE MANAGER THAT THE EGGS WERE RAW so he asked me if I want him to finish cooking it, but by then I had already lost my appetite so I got a salad which had some beans and some sort of cheese and then AGAIN the salad had no taste what so ever.
6)i get the bill and they already put the total including a 18% tip which came out to approximately $125.00 and I'm looking at the bill and I'm like WHY SO EXPANSIVE is it because it's a nice looking restaurant? That serves tasteless disgusting food. And then you still expect me to pay a 18% tip so we decided to give them $114.00.
7) and we're about to go into my car and the manager or the boss comes running to my car with some nerve screaming that we didn't give him a 18% tip.
Last time I checked tips is optional please don't get me wrong I usually leave really big tips he should have been happy with the tip I left him after all of us had a really bad experience.
So my recommendation is stay really far away from " mint brooklyn " .
Unless you want to be in a nice restaurant with disgusting tasteless food and get ripped off with their high prices
and don't forget if you don't leave them a 18% tip someone's gonna come running out screaming that you didn't leave them the 18% tip that they wanted.
