One of our favorite spots in Madison, a city that already punches above about it's weight way it comes to food. Don't skimp on the carbs, get the biscuit and the chocolate chip cookie in a skillet. You won't regret it. The drinks are all amazing. Mint Mark has been my favorite local restaurant for years. Unfortunately, they have stopped taking reservations and its made impossible to eat there. We have tried twice in the past week to bring our out of town foodie friends to enjoy our favorite spot, and both times the wait has been over an hour. While the wait itself is not out of the realm of reasonable for phenomenal food, the lack of reservations has made planning difficult and coincides suspiciously with the opening of a new bar to funnel waiting guests into. I am now hungry and sad to see this local legend fall to such depths. It appears that nothing is spared from the tarnish of greedy business practices. Food: 5
