I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but I have to warn people about Room 101 (ironically named, given the experience). The hotel itself seems to be a decent standard, but this particular room was the worst I’ve ever stayed in. There was a loud party going on downstairs and zero soundproofing, so the noise came straight through. The room itself is tiny, and to make matters worse, the only window opens directly next to the restaurant’s ventilation system, so the moment you try to get some air, you’re hit with cooking smells. Honestly, this room shouldn’t be on offer at all. It drags down the reputation of what otherwise seems like a perfectly decent hotel. If you book here, ask for any room but this one.
