This was my first meal of the trip after landing in Japan. I wanted to get something different and avoid the cliche of only eating seafood in Hokkaido, and I was attracted by their miso oden. Food was generally okay and serviceable, nothing really exceptional but also nothing to complain.

Avoid this place! Absolute worst service in Japan. I have traveled to Japan many times, but I have never experienced such hostility. We arrived on May 5th at 16:00. The restaurant was half-empty, yet the staff treated us like we were a nuisance. We had 4 carry-on bags and placed them near us. A staff member approached us with a very bad attitude, demanding we move them. We complied immediately. However, when my family member kept one small backpack (with valuables) on the seat next to them, the staff came back to harass us again. She refused to let us keep the bag on the seat but offered zero solutions—no baskets, no alternatives, just pure rudeness. It felt like they didn't want tourists there at all. If you want to be treated with respect, do not eat here. There are much better options in the airport. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Almost forgot to try miso tonkatsu, but luckily found a stall serving it. The dish was tasty, the service was warm, and everything felt clean and well maintained. The price was reasonable too — definitely worth a try. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
