After reading reviews, I was looking forward to trying this place. It was mostly empty at 10am which was surprising (at the time). Looking at the breakfast buffet showed sparse offerings - only the basics and everything looked dried out. Got it anyway because prices of anything else were only slightly less. The eggs were just about gone so I had to request they put out more. Flavorless. Hash was mushy and usually a favorite dish of mine but the flavor was off. Didn't care for the sausage links and the bacon was like dried tree stumps, kid you not. Breakfast has all my favorite foods and I have never been to a buffet I didn't appreciate - until that visit. Side note: the server singing loudly all through our visit was annoying af. Not something people appreciate and we weren't the only ones looking bothered by it. Every time we pass through Grand Rapids we eat here. The food is always delicious the service is excellent! Our waitress, Jessica, was just to sweet and friendly. We finally gave in and got some homemade pie. All the pies are made by a young girl named Kira, 16 years old and she makes the most amazing pies! Highly recommend this restaurant if you ever pass through.
