The wait time was too long. They had an open table outside, but was not given to us as the receptionist Nadia said that they leave that table open for hotel guests only, regardless if the hotel guests ask to reserve it or not, and despite operating independently as a restaurant. The inside restaurant has a small section where our table was given, Inside table seating was very warm and unbearable to have a drink or dinner. I left without a dinner abd did not have a drink either.

Breathtaking Setting Did not stay overnight, but had a wonderful dinner on a busy Wednesday Summer evening overlooking a beautiful meadow/estuary. There is indoor and outdoor seating. If you like a festive atmosphere accompanied by live piano music and a nice stone fireplace, then indoor seating is for you. If quiet and beauty is more to your liking, then enjoy the large outdoor patio seating equipped with heaters for those chilly evenings. Food, drinks, service and ambience were all above par. Highly recommend for a romantic night out. Prices reasonable for a higher end restaurant.

There is some serious sewage issue out front of the mission ranch restaurant. Absolutely revolting, almost causing me and 1 other in my party to vomit. Hostess blamed work on other side of hotel for the smell, but the smell only existed near the restaurant, it did not smell in the parking lot. Upon research, previous reviews as far back as a YEAR cite this sewage smell, and yet it still persists. The hostess said the smell wouldn’t be on the back patio, so we agreed to sit outside. It absolutely stunk in the back as well, and it made the brunch omelet bar literally unusable because the smell was so bad. The food was fine. Your hostess was rude and unapologetic. The stench of sewage throughout is absolutely unacceptable.
