We stopped by Mission Ranch Restaurant shortly before 4:00 PM just to grab a few drinks, expecting to have a cocktail or a glass of wine. There was already a long line formed outside the restaurant. When we reached the host stand after about a 15-minute wait, our experience took a turn. The hostess (who seemed to be the manager or host lead) came across as very cold and hierarchical. She looked us up and down rather skeptically without any sign of friendliness. Since we were only ordering drinks, we were seated at a high-top table outside, which was completely fine with us. Fortunately, the server who took care of our table was fantastic—super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. However, the manager continued to leave a bad impression, even acting quite bossy toward her own staff. To top it off, when we said goodbye on our way out, she didn't even bother to respond or acknowledge us. While the patio seating and the service staff were great, the hostile attitude from the manager really ruined the vibe. I wouldn't return purely based on how unwelcoming she made us feel

Only reviewing the restaurant, not the hotel, or any other ammenities or features. My wife and I both loved the food we got. She got the scallops, and I got the filet mignon. My filet was huge, well cooked, and tasted great. I think there were SEVEN huge scallops in my wife's entree and they were amazing. The only minor complaint was that the arrangement for getting a seat was not standard. There were two lines out front, best I could tell, one was for guests at the inn, and the other was for the peasan....er, other guests. It was not clear who was getting a seat, or how long it might be before you got one. Other than that TSA-precheck feelings of the queuing, it was fantastic. I don't think the wait was long or excessive, and am not deducting anything from their review. Well done, Mission Ranch Restaurant staff! Service: 4
