My sister and I often come here while we're staying in Cres and we never had any issues. This time however everyhing changed and we will never come again because of an extremely rude and unpleasant interaction with an individual called Vanja. This person and the waitress were dragging metal tables across the floor to set up the venue for visitors. After the 4th table was being dragged across the floor, since the sound was so loud and unbearable, we asked them politely to stop. The waitress undersood the complaint while Vanja brushed us off by saying he needs to set up for 200 guests. We asked if that could be done outside of the working hours and then the conversation escalated. He said he had explained already and this should be enough for "you girl". This extremely rude tone continued throughout his monologue as we asked to pay while no one else except for his added to the "conversation". There was an ironic moment when we realised there is still relaxing music going in the background while we were continuing to be insulted by Vanja. It was evident that the owner's intention was to set the opposite mood than we were experiencing. The waitress apologised and tried to deescalate the situation although her colleague was at fault. This kind of behaviour isn't acceptable in any industry, but absolutely not in hospitality. I hope this review will help others in choosing a venue where they will feel at ease while vising the Cres marina. We will not be coming again and will certainly warn others.

I had a pleasant experience with their main chef. His experience and expertise in making brilliant and tasty meals makes this restaurant top notch!
