This restaurant and Tokyo Origami Museum can be both really attractive for tourists. The menu of Mizuho is recommended to Japanese cuisine lovers. Good fish and perfectly cooked sashimi are the tastiest dishes.

The appealing staff demonstrates a high level of hospitality at this place. Terrific service is something visitors like here. Most clients are loyal to this spot because of the spectacular atmosphere. Google users are quite generous with this restaurant: it was rated 4.8 stars.

This is a great local gem. They don't need my glowing review as their 8 or 9 seat place gets full every night from word of mouth and repeat local customers. Enjoy the end times of the typical shokudo while they last if you can find an open seat. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000

This is a Mom and Pop shop humbly dishing out Michelin Star worthy Kappo/Kaiseki style traditional Japanese dishes in a humble and homey atmosphere. Walking in, The 83 year old chef with over 60 years experience may seem like any old izakaya, but the little touches he puts on every dish give away the superior chef's skill and careful selection of premium ingredients. They don't really speak any other languages, but they don't mind serving foreigners and you're in for a treat if you're open to a little bit of omakase - there are two plates that come out automatically and are included in the ¥1200/person Otoshi (table fee) - a steal at even twice the price. My wife and I ate and drank our fill and paid less than ¥6000 each. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited whilst staying nearby and this was the real deal. We are from England so not used to this style of eating out. I've read that these sorts of very small family run Izakyas/restaurants are common in Japan so we were really lucky to visit such a warm and welcoming one (despite our lack of Japanese language ability). The food here is truly unique and very well presented, I tried a lot of dishes I've never had before and each one tasted great. Highly recommend you stop by if in the neighborhood!
