Great tasting Daifuku Manju shop. Easy to find the shop. Very popular in the area. I recommend the Salt flavored Daifuku Manju. Cash only, no IC cards.

The original salt daifuku mizuno After visiting Sugamo's thorn-pulling Jizo statue, we finished dinner and started walking towards Sugamo Station. Then, I saw the flag of the original Shio Daifuku. I've never bought one before because there's always a line, but it was already 6 o'clock today and there wasn't anyone in line. When I stood in front of the store thinking I would buy some and take home, I saw a pack of 5 on the display case. 5 pieces? Can't you eat 5? I was wondering if the store only had 5 pieces? When I asked him about it, he replied that he could have as many as he wanted. So I bought two and went home. I got home and opened it right away. It's not too sweet and the skin is soft and delicious. I ate the two I bought in no time. I think 5 of these would be fine!
