Mizutani is a sushi restaurant located on Ginza, renowned for its culinary experience. While not extensively listed in popular directories, it maintains a minimal profile on Foursquare. The restaurant offers both lunch and dinner menus, focusing on the art of sushi preparation.
Though some reviews from over a decade ago praise the sushi quality, experiences with the service have been mixed, with some guests finding it not as memorable. It’s important to note that the reservation policy has been criticized for being exclusionary towards foreigners, an issue which once drew media attention.
Reservations are required but not everyone may find it straightforward to secure a spot. Mizutani does not currently accept credit cards or provide outdoor seating. With the lack of updated information and reviews since it dropped from three to two Michelin stars, potential visitors might want to approach with both anticipation and caution.

Excellent Sushi. I liked the Sushi much more than the Sashimi. It is beautiful to see the chef working.

The reservation policy of this restaurant discriminates against foreigners. See for example: http://www.tokyoreporter.com/2015/04/26/michelin-restaurant-in-ginza-refuses-reservations-by-foreigners/
