St. Augustine of Hippo argued, two thousand years ago, that infinity is not time stretching out forever, but the absence of time. What is the greatest luxury? It's not a three million dollar watch that barely tells time or an electric Ferrari that auto immolates or even a megayacht too mega for the Simpson Bay Lagoon. No, true luxury is the absence of time as a concern. When you reach a certain level, everything is now, and when the knaves speak of hours and minutes, they might as well be describing fairy dust on a unicorn. You don't even acknowledge the concept. Here's Model. It's earth tones, earth tones, and earth tones. It's what your parents thought New Mexico looked like before they bought the RV. Model busts out exposed brick nooks and crannies, copper ceiling lamps, and brown carpet to make you crave baked grapefruit in a jello mold. The drinks? They're good. The vanilla ice cream in my ginger float was like a big blob of frozen vanilla butter basically. Coffee? Don't even ask, because these ladies bring it, and how. If you were among the groundlings who experience time, you'd notice, or maybe even complain, that each drink takes a minimum of half an hour to be served, really more like an hour if you include the time to get your order in. But you don't care. Because you've transcended time. Because you live in infinity. Best of all, there's no smoking. St. Augustine wouldn't have it any other way.
