Stopped in Old Fort to grab some food after hiking Catawba Falls and stumbled upon this gem! Old Fort is growing. The food was absolutely amazing. Drinks were fantastic. Me and my wife come to the area often for hiking and such. Brittany took wonderful care of us. Can’t wait to stop back in and try more of their delicious menu.

Had a great lunch at Modern Alchemist/AMB today! I had the Outpost Hot Chicken sandwich, which was delicious, especially the combination of hot honey and slaw. My friends had the Brussels Sprouts Caesar Salad and said it was outstanding. While the menu has changed and is limited, our waitress told us they will be expanding and having frequent specials, and Taco Tuesday will still be a thing! Since it was middle of the day, no drinks this time, but look forward to that at the next visit!

Great service from our wonderful waitress, Erica! She was on top of everything and took great care of the family. The food was excellent-from the appetizers to dinner and drinks. A great old-fashioned and my wife loved her horchata. The kids loved the fresh house made NA drinks. Best meal I have had out in forever. We WILL be back. I had the grilled flank steak with ramp crème sauce, the wife had the coconut tuna. Excellent food!! We have a new gem in McDowell County.
