I hadn't been to Moe's in Durham, NC in quite a while. My lady and myself went to Moe's to eat Sunday evening. They acted like we weren't there! No greeting! And it was 3 women employees. Then my last asked a could of questions and the first server acted like it was a problem to respond to her questions. When she asked for queso to be added to her order, the server said that's extra! Everybody knows queso and quac are extra! When preparing the orders they were whispering under their breath. Many Hispanics/Latino's people of color/Black/Afro American only speak English. The chips were bland! They were stingy with the ingredients and head attitudes with the only two people in the store! I am a veteran. New York Born and bred! Grew up with many Hispanic/Latin people. Know what prejudice is first hand from experience. I am in my 60's. How dare you come from somewhere else and live here and think you are better than you are serving! If you don't like your job, you didn't have to take it . I speak more than English. Whomever reads this, this is/was a real experience! I will never spend my money with Moe's again! Durham, NC. I enjoyed visiting this restaurant. Usually I work at Durham performing arts center. This time the play/musical Riverdance was here. I thought to myself, "man I'm hungry"..... I decided it was in my best interest to go to Moe's southwest grill. I had my mind and my taste buds set on a chicken quesadilla. As soon as I entered the employees mentioned how they loved my skin tone. I love those compliments because it makes me feel more centered as an individual especially ordering food. I wanna build trust and rapport, because sometimes they might add a little extra chicken into the quesadilla. So I also got a cup of water which was delicious and I was able to eat and take a nap before returning to Durham performing arts center from lunch. That nap was fire. I was so thankful that Moe's southwest grill was so quick and professional. Honestly any other restaurants near by would have taken way longer and also the drive so I may not have been able to take as long as efficient of a nap as I was able to. Thanks Moe's southwest grill!!!!!!!!!!!
