First time at the Molten Monkey...and let me just say, I can officially skip going to MI for Detriot style pizza because I think the king has been crowned. This place has a super cool vibe, outstanding service, and amazing food! Solid drink menu with good draft options. To start, get the Monkey Styx (hold the Mr. Roberto ) and do some dipping because the sauce is amazing. Angelo's Chopped was a nice bit of salad before you indulge in pillowy goodness. We had the Umami Bomby and Piggly Figgly. Tough call on which was better but I think I gotta give it to the Umami by the hair of its chinny chin chin. Regardless, the flavor palate of both was excellent with perfect cook on the pizzas. Crunchy edges with light and airy texture combo coupled with really tasty toppings...this Monkey is . Service was excellent and prices are reasonable. Well worth the wait... Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best part about Detroit style pizza is the crispy cheesy edges, and they absolutely nailed that here. Not to mention the creative choices! The French onion soup pizza of the month is not one to sleep on!! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The pizzas are a little pricey, but I think they're worth it. Wait can be a bit long and I wish they had a few other topping options. They are the best Detroit style I've had around here though.
