The specialty is a large curry available only on Fridays. Momiji is a small restaurant located behind Shin-Nihonbashi Station. There is a long line for lunch on Fridays, and what they are looking for is the cutlet curry, which is available only on Fridays. Even though it's a regular size, there are many requests for half a bowl of rice, so the volume is great. I didn't find the regular size to be very interesting, and I'm sorry that I couldn't finish eating the large one, so I ordered the medium one. It's 1750g, is that okay? I was reminded of this, but how much? The amount of roux is so large that even a middle-aged man can't see the cutlet. The taste had a sweetness that blended in with the vegetables, and it was very easy to eat, giving the impression that it had been simmered in a large pot for a long time. (Of course I finished it) By the way, it seems that the large one is about 3 cups of rice, which I will try next time. It's popular not only because of its volume, but also because it has a Japanese home-style taste without any harsh spices or spiciness. ・Second visit: Izakaya Momiji's large curry challenge. Friday-only cutlet curry has a line forming in the back street of Shin-Nihonbashi Station on Friday lunchtime. Last time, I tried a medium size serving of about 1.75 cups and ate it, but this time I tried a large size of 3 cups. At the ordering stage, I was asked, ``It's 3 cups, is that okay?'' I don't know how much it is, even though there are many requests for ``less rice'' even if it is a normal size. Well, it's been delivered. It looks more like a buffet platter than a curry. The eyes of everyone around me turned towards my table. If you can't eat it all, will you think, ``Oh, I knew it!'' or will the staff think, ``That's why I reminded you so much.'' Even though it's lunch, instead of feeling relaxed, I feel pressured. Still, this home-style curry goes well with rice. It was sucked down my throat and I was able to eat most of it in no time, but I realized that it was about two bowls worth of rice. The amount of curry is the same as a regular serving, so if you continue to eat at the original rate, you'll end up eating rice with Fukujinzuke. I was getting tired of it, but decided I couldn't leave anything behind, so I ate it all. When having a large serving, be careful about the balance of curry and rice at the kickoff.
