Man, what a find! We stayed in Wallace and if we hadn't had dinner at the excellent Blackboard Cafe there the night before, we would have probably had breakfast there, as it looked like the best option. But aiming for variety, we thought we'd try somewhere else, which pointed us down the road to Mom's. Soooo happy. As others have said, the serving size is humongous. But I will ever forget the deep-fried French toast with strawberries and whipped cream (daily special). Somehow even submerged in what seemed like a quart of strawberry juice & berries, it stayed crisp and crunchy to the bottom of the huge bowl. A deliriously indulgent and delicious treat.

Lovely atmosphere! The staff is so considerate and the wait is not long at all! Anyone passing through the silver valley needs to stop here. The food is homemade and so filling! If you have a big appetite, this is the place to go. Mom's Vintage Eatery has large, scrumptious portions!
