Do yourself a favour when visiting Rome and stop at this shop. The desserts were genuinely the best I have had. Specifically the Easter tart - I visited this shop every day for 4 days! The staff don’t speak English though but they’re always very friendly and patient.

Monaco Caffè is truly one of the nicest spots in Rome to enjoy a perfect Italian breakfast. Their coffee is incredibly delicious, rich in flavor, and always served at the right temperature — just the way a real espresso should be. The cornetto is fresh, soft, and buttery, and there’s also a wide variety of pastries to choose from, all beautifully displayed and always tempting. The staff are very kind, polite, and attentive, making every visit a pleasant experience. Whether you stop by for a quick espresso at the counter or a relaxed morning with friends, the atmosphere is welcoming and authentic. A perfect place to start your day in Rome — highly recommended!
