If you’re looking for a place that genuinely delivers on every level, Mono Malo on Olive Lane in Waverley is an absolute standout. I’ve now visited three times, and each experience has been consistently exceptional — which says a lot. The food is simply outstanding. Every dish I’ve tried has been full of flavour, thoughtfully prepared, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. It’s the kind of place where you can tell real attention goes into every detail on the plate. What truly elevates Mono Malo though is the service. It’s warm, attentive, and effortlessly welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. The owner in particular makes the experience incredibly special — his friendliness and genuine interaction creates an atmosphere that feels both personal and memorable. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but Mono Malo absolutely does. It has quickly become my new favourite place to eat, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you haven’t been yet, you’re seriously missing out.
