I'm an in Home Care aid and came in with one of my senior clients, he the burger without cheese and pickles and really enjoyed it. Coming from my client that's high praise indeed. Servers were attentive and friendly and the cost was good for what we had. It's a different atmosphere from the Old Monrovian but take it from this local, you can do far worse on Myrtle will be coming back soon.

After being told there was a 2 hour wait at a restaurant right up the street, my friend and I stumbled on The Monrovian. We were seated right away. That was already a plus. Their customer service is stellar. Every server was so pleasant and friendly. I really appreciated that they let us linger and have a proper catch up without rushing us out. The icing on the cake was the gluten free chocolate almond cake. I'd never before heard of such deliciousness. Every bite was so tasty. Brunch at the Monrovian was such a treat.
