Great store with everything you could want and excellent deli in the rear.  I had the roast beef sandwich that was massive and delicious!  Bought a hat and some gifts as well.  Couldn't believe how good the sandwich was.  Everyone loved what they got and it was reasonably quick and the price was fair.  Such a simple way to get what you need before heading out for the day!

They have everything! Everything gifty/souvenirish, plus so many edible basics & treats, snacks, wine, beer, plus nice deli/hot food preparation in the back, with breakfast, salads, sandwiches, pasta - and a small number of tables. Amazing place. Nice people.

Monson General Store is like a little community hub here in Monson. The staff are very friendly and they've got an interesting selection of local products, such as maple syrup, Pineland Farms sauces and cheeses, cards and jewelry, ice cream, cider, candies, and other treats. Also, those Fox Family chips are addicting! It's a really cute and quaint little store with hot food and grilled sandwiches in the back and baked treats/hot cider/coffee in the front. There's plenty of variety in the selection of things they have (almond butter! granola! vegetables!) and their wine and beer selection is definitely better than the convenience store attached to the gas station down the road. I would've liked them to have fresher vegetables but that may have been the fault of being around in the off-season when there's less turnover. Sandwiches (especially the grilled ones) are pretty big and hearty--I had a daily special of delicious bbq chicken grilled cheese that really hit the spot one time. They also sometimes hold events--back in November there was a beer tasting of Lone Pine beers that really brought a bunch of people in! There's outdoor space to eat in as well as some indoor tables. It's just a friendly environment and very kind to us artists staying in Monson. Really thankful to have such this spot in Monson!
