Amazing food in the historic district of Catania. We came here after a recommendation from a local, didn’t disappoint. You can see it’s a family owned restaurant. Owners are super nice couple. Service is great, food is delicious, atmosphere is nice and chill. Prices are OK in terms of the portions you get. Lots of choice for pizza and drinks. We had an amazing experience at Ristorante Montaina in Catania! Despite not having a reservation, the manager Carlo went above and beyond to find us a table for four, which we truly appreciated. The service was exceptional—professional, attentive, and friendly throughout the entire meal. Carlo also recommended the Sicilian white wine "Maria Costanza," which was hands down the best wine I’ve had in Sicily. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish exceeding our expectations. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great dining experience. Special thanks to the manager Carlo and the team for making our visit memorable. We’ll definitely be back! The terrace is cozy with little lights and the waiters were nice explaining the dishes. We tried the norma pasta and the pistacchio pizza, this last one was exquisite, creamy and cheesy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
