If you have never come across Irish cuisine, you should order a table and try the menu at this cafe. Have perfectly cooked coleslaw, beef sandwiches and chicken wraps at Monty's when you happen to be near it. Try good Scones, brownies and coffee cakes. Great flat whites, hot chocolate or tea are among the best drinks to degust.

Was very disappointed with my experience here. Ordered 2 hot chocolates received one and was waiting 10 minutes to be asked with an attitude “what am I waiting for” - explained I only received one of the two, after another 12 minutes of waiting (at this point I was keeping track) I had to ask was it on the way as I had to leave. I initially went in to grab a “quick” hot chocolate to go - I was informed that it was forgotten about AGAIN. Overall waited nearly 25 minutes for a hot chocolate. I wouldn’t return not simply because of the service but because of the attitude of the female working there.

I visited Monty's with a family member last weekend. We had heard great things about Monty's so we were keen to visit for lunch. Unfortunately, before 2pm, there was no goats cheese, chicken and beef available for sandwiches. I ordered a ham and cheese toastie a short while later and when my relative went to order the same sandwich, they had no ham left either. The quality of the sandwich was disappointing and very greasy. I didnt finish my sandwich and we went to an alternative place so my relative could get a sandwich. Overall we were disappointed with our experience and I felt that it was important to give this feedback. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €1–10 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
