This restaurant and Belvedere di Tragara can be both really attractive for tourists. Italian cuisine is offered at Le Monzu. Perfectly cooked filet américain, prawns and gazpacho have a good taste.

The wine list is versatile, every visitor can find something that suits their taste. It's a must to try good tonic, cappuccino or espresso while coming to this place. Clients don't like ice cream at this spot. A lot of guests suppose that the staff is cool at this place. Fine service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of this restaurant. My wife and I chose Le Monzù in Capri to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and honestly, we couldn’t have made a better choice. We had some unexpected challenges that evening and arrived quite late, but the welcome we received was so warm and genuine. They made us feel comfortable right away and never made us feel like our late arrival was a problem. We chose the Le Origini menu, and it was simply fantastic. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and a real pleasure from beginning to end. You could feel the passion and attention to detail behind the food. A big compliment to the chef and the whole kitchen team. A special thank you to Stefania, our chef de rang, and to Biago and Gerard. They were wonderful throughout the evening, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. Stefania explained each dish and its ingredients so nicely, which made the experience even more enjoyable. What touched us most was the lovely gesture they made for our anniversary. It was unexpected and made an already special evening even more memorable. We came to Capri to celebrate 25 years together, and Le Monzù became a beautiful part of that memory. Great food, wonderful people, and a truly special atmosphere. Thank you to everyone at Le Monzù for such a memorable evening. We will definitely remember it and hopefully come back one day! We came here with high expectations because of its Michelin star. The view and atmosphere were absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately, that was where the positive experience ended. As soon as we walked in, one of the staff members greeted me by saying “Ni hao,” seemingly based solely on my appearance. I am not Chinese, and I found it extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable to be greeted this way simply because I am Asian. I made it clear to him that I did not appreciate the comment. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing and nowhere near what I would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The steak in particular had an unpleasant smell that made it difficult to enjoy. To make matters worse, I also found a hair in my steak, which I have included a photo of. Considering the prices and the Michelin recognition, both the food and service fell far below expectations. The view and setting are fantastic, but the overall experience felt extremely overpriced for the quality we received. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner

Went Thursday this week and sat outside for the evening dinner. It is the most beautiful setting! Had the five course dinner with the wine pairing. Couldn’t have been better and the service was impeccable! If someone can let me know which red wine was served with the beef that would be wonderful!
