Can only give a review based on our experience which is not necessarily the same that others have. Coffee is Ok, cakes were pretty good. Sat outside in a sunny spot on a cool May day. Not a particularly busy afternoon when we ordered. Cakes arrived. Then staff simply forgot about the coffees. Eventually went in search of them, staff apologised and said they would bring them out, then only made one of the two we had ordered. Probably not typical service but enough to put us off making a return visit.

A great little cafe we stumbled upon. It was fabulous on many levels. Great staff, very helpful and friendly customers and excellent food. Following a recommendation from very helpful customers we had the sharing cheese platter which was excellent with great cappuccinos. Other options are available. Using locally sourced produce.

5 star for the ice cream - but, for the first time, I am disappointed that we’ve had to go and buy several pots of Ben & Jerry’s instead because at 7.35pm, on a Friday, we’re turned away because Moomaid On The Square, which is open until 9am-8pm, wasn’t open. Will I go again, of course. My review is to warn people to not bother going past 7.30pm as it’s likely the shop will be shut and the staff will be hunched over the counter on their phones instead. Shame.
