The Moon Rabbit Cafe is a community cafe that opens once a month and each month has a different themed dinner prepared by a local volunteer chef. The dinners are excellent. The meal consists of an appetizer, a main course (generally a choice of two or three different items), and a dessert. Coffee, tea, water or a drink matching the theme is included. The entire event is run by volunteers and patrons are only asked to pay what they can. The suggested donation for the meal is $5.00. Donations are to cover the cost of the food and to support the community activities of the Reno Buddhist Center.
