We stopped to have breakfast before our 10am ferry and were rewarded with a lovely meal! We had a spinach and feta pie (tasty and soft), yogurt and granola bowl (with tons of fresh fruit). We both ordered omelettes. Mine was mushroom and Gruyère, it was fluffy and the mushrooms were not over cooked. It came with crisp greens on the side, lightly dressed and a hearty toast with plenty of butter, so yummy!! Thanks for sending us off so well Moonflower! We are so glad you were open even though google said you weren’t. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30

An Absolute Gem - Hospitality and Treats Beyond Compare! Wow! What an incredible find on Easter Sunday! We were searching for a stylish café in Orient and stumbled upon the Moonflower Café. Despite its high Google Maps rating, it seemed like a hidden secret with few reviews. We arrived to find it technically closed for the day, but the wonderfully kind owners, an elderly couple, saw us and graciously opened just for us, saying, "We don't have strict rules and like to host you!". This act of kindness set the tone for a truly special experience. We were treated like treasured guests, not just customers. We enjoyed perfectly crafted Cafe Lattes accompanied by the most delicious homemade chocolate tart and scones – pure comfort and quality in every bite. The Moonflower Café truly sparks with love and a passion for making guests feel special. It's clear the owners pour their hearts into this place. Don't be deterred if the drive takes you through a quiet residential area; this hidden gem is absolutely worth the detour. We'd suggest checking out nearby Eastpoint and then making your way here for a delightful treat. If you're looking for exceptional hospitality, delicious homemade goodies, and a place with genuine warmth and character, look no further. 100% recommended! We can't wait to return.
