The key aspect of this restaurant is the International cuisine. Come here and try good fish tacos, octopus and tuna. The recipe for success of Moro by Our Habitas is its tasty brioches, pudding and banana dessert. Here you may drink good wine. Delicious fruit juice, fresh juices or smoothies are among the most often ordered drinks at this place.
Live music is played by musicians in the evening. The pleasant staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Fast service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of this spot. Here you will pay adequate prices. At this restaurant, people can enjoy the spectacular ambiance and beautiful decor. Google users like Moro by Our Habitas: it was rated 4.8 stars.

This is just a review of Moro by Our Habitas, the restaurant at Our Habitas Tulum. This is not a review of the resort which I will provide separately. At the end of this review I added some suggestions for saving that apply to guests of the resort though. Moro is nicely situated in the middle of the small resort near the pool and the beach. We visited in August but temperatures were still comfortable to sit outside because of the breeze from the Caribbean Sea. All of the staff at Moro were excellent, very friendly, and all spoke English. Luis and Alexis were amazing! We had several different severs during our 4 night stay but Luis and Alexis stood out. Breakfast. If you're staying at the resort, breakfast is the only included meal of the day. You still sign a check at the end. If you're from a country where it isn't customary to tip, keep in mind, tipping is customary here, even if the meal is free. Coffee, water, and juice are included for beverages, if you want a cocktail or specialty coffee (cappuccino, mocha, etc) it is an extra charge. They have a selection of about 4-5 light breakfast items and 5-6 full entree items. We got the Pan Artesenal every day which was three slices of bread served with butter, a homemade jam and hummus. We tried nearly everything on the breakfast entree menu as well and everything was very elevated. The cuisine is fitting of a 5 star resort for every meal. Lunch/Dinner. For lunch and dinner they feature their "All Day" menu, so the menu is the same for both. These meals are not free, even if you're staying at the resort and can be expensive. If you get two entrees and either a desert or appetizer, you can expect to spend around $1700mxn, $100usd, €100. If you add in cocktails or wine, expect that number to rise quickly. One dinner was around $200usd because we had a bottle of wine. Again, the food and service is excellent. The cocktails are also amazing. The steak tacos stood out, also the ceviche was very good. If price was a category I could rate, that is the only place I would give 4 stars. It is not the prices you might expect when coming to Mexico, but the food is far more elevated than you normally see in an all inclusive resort so it demands a higher price. Time of year is a factor here as well. August is the slow season for Tulum. There were almost no other guests in the resort and for 2 nights we only saw one other person. As the weekend approached more guests started to arrive but we still only sat in the restaurant with maybe 2 other tables occupied. Reservations for dinner, which can be made on OpenTable, are absolutely unnecessary during August. During August there is a high concentration of sargassum (seaweed) on the beach so the beach isn't really usable. The busy season November-February. Being here during the slow season allowed us to have quiet intimate dinners every night. If you're staying here I recommend you leave the resort and go get a meal or two at one of the local places in town and if you drink pick up some alcohol at a convenience store. It will save you some money. The wait staff will gladly give you suggestions on where to go. The resort has bicycles to use for free if you're a guest (though not real comfortable) which are good to ride to the convenience store and maybe a restaurant in town. I don't recommend riding too far in the heat, for further distances there is a scooter/ATV rental location about 15 minutes walk from the resort. Overall, great place to eat, elevated food and drinks, which demand a higher price point so you will spend some money here. Still deserving of 5 stars. The food was AMAZING! I stayed at Our Habitus for a week and ate there daily for breakfast and dinner so I was able to try just about all of the vegan and pescatarian dishes and some that I had modified without issue and every meal was amazing! I’m not a foodie but I love good tasting food and this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was really fresh down to the breakfast juices and the ginger tea. Wilbert, Franscico, the evening sever and bartender (who does the Mexican spirits tasting forgot his name) and others who’s name I forgot as well were all welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. The copal that was burning in the mornings and the music throughout the day were added bonuses. Would absolutely recommend. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was amazing. The wait staff, Rafael and Alex were attentive, remembered just how we like our coffee and tea and took Great care in watching out for our allergies. The menu was creative and mixed many different cultures of food into the perfect palette for tasting. We will be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
