This place used to be so delicious many years ago. Not sure what happened to the food, but it was awful. We had the street tacos, sizzling burrito, kids burrito and shrimp tacos. Even the chips and salsa were bad. Very basic food and flavor thats overpriced for the quality you get. Weve tried it several times in the past few years, hoping something has changed back, but this will be our last time ever coming here. Very sad, because of the history and lication. Been here a couple times.Food was good and the roof top view is nice. Roof top servers are WAY better then downstairs service which is the busy bartender. They say they have vegetarian menu but its not great. Except for salad all the veg is canned, you can really taste it with the spinach. NO vegan options as most of the vegetarian menu has cheese, butter or eggs. But perfect if you want a beer and a burrito on the roof! If bland had a headquarters, it would be Morrison Inn. The wildest part is that this place has apparently been here forever, so you’d think after all these years they might have figured out how to cook beans all the way through. The food was somehow both cold and overcooked, the beans were crunchy, the chicken options were disappointing, and seasoning seems to be treated like an optional upgrade. The place was clearly understaffed, service was a mess, and hearing an employee yelling profanity while we were eating really completed the experience. I’m usually pretty forgiving when a restaurant is having an off day, but for a place that’s been around this long, this was impressively bad from start to finish. At some point, “local institution” can’t just mean “we’ve somehow survived this long.” Definitely won’t be back. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
