My dining experience at Mosaic Restaurant at Royal Tulip on Tigoni Road was a mixed bag. The service provided by the ladies was commendable – swift and attentive. Unfortunately, the main course featuring chicken left much to be desired. The chicken was disappointingly dry and lacked proper marination. On a positive note, the chicken nuggets were a standout, perfectly cooked and presented with flair. However, the brownie fell short of expectations, resembling more of a sponge cake with nuts; there's room for improvement there. The ambiance at Mosaic is a strong suit, offering a pleasantly quiet atmosphere. However, the presence of escorts in the evening was overly conspicuous, potentially impacting the dining experience negatively. Additionally, the choice of extremely short skirts for waitresses and female staff raised concerns about appropriateness for family settings and patrons seeking a respectful atmosphere. We ate at Mosaic after attending a meeting at the hotel in which it is housed. While it also has indoor seating, we were happy to sit on its pleasant outdoor terrace overlooking the swimming pool. Much of the menu is international, but we opted for a plate of wet fried beef from the East African section of the menu. It was served in a thick sauce with mushrooms and onions, alongside buttered white rice and steamed vegetables, with a Tusker Malt beer and a bitter lemon soda. The food was quite tasty, though the service was a bit slow (but, to be fair, we were part of a large party). Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
