Nothing like authentic Indian curries. Nothing remotely “moti mahal” about the food .We got lamb Shahi korma and prawn coconut curry. Portion size was very small and tasted nothing like those curries Won’t recommend for Indian food Price per person: $40–50 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

We used to frequent Moti Mahal back when it was at the Midnapore location, which was quite a few years ago, and it was amazing. We returned after so many years, excited to still see that this restaurant was still up and running! But unfortunately it was not how we remembered. The Tandoori chicken was not the best, and it was what i was looking forward to the most. The chicken was a bit tough, and tasted too much of green peppers, which back in the day the chicken was only served on a bed of onions and you could really enjoy the authentic tandoori taste. Butter chicken was ok, shahi paneer was very tomato forward, lacking cream and flavour, also would be more enjoyable if it were cubed instead of strips. The naan bread was excellent, but we wont be returning just for that. Our waiter Jesse was excellent. Attentive and polite. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I highly recommend Moti Mahal restaurant for lunch or dinner. The quality has remained consistently excellent for years and our latest meal did not disappoint. I especially recommend the banana leaf wrapped fish.
