A fantastic hidden gem serving really high-quality yakitori. It’s located in Tenokuchicho, an area full of great izakayas. They have a great selection of drinks and some tasty skewers that make you want to order second. Really friendly staff too. I will definitely go back if I’m in the area again! I feel so lucky to come across this beautiful izakaya on a random Monday night. I had a strong feeling to their motsunabe and I was correct too, the owner is very proud of their offals and telling me it’s from the famous Kagoshima black pork, very prestigious ingredients and is the best kind of motsunabe — he’s also right! It is indeed the best motsunabe I’ve tried across Japan! The offal is extra clean in comparison while giving the same rich taste. I also love how he makes the soup base with sakura shrimp as well as rice molt, you can just tell the layer is different. The porridge at the end is always a terrific ending too. I’ll have to come back and try the shabu shabu and the yakitori, and also their wagyu yaki offals ( owner told me it’s their no.1! — can’t wait! ) Please come if you are in the area.
