I love this place! I am not from here and Ms. Sheila’s made me feel like a piece of home was here. Ms. Sheila is the sweetest woman I have met here. Had a fabulous time at this place! From the moment I walked in, I could tell it was one of those local, “everybody knows everybody” spots—and sometimes that can feel a little intimidating as an outsider. But that wasn’t the case here at all. I was immediately welcomed and asked if I’d been there before (I hadn’t). They let me know it’s a cash-only, beer-only establishment—which honestly is right up my alley. Marcus, the bartender, mentioned they were about to start bingo, so I grabbed some cards and jumped in on the fun. If I hadn’t driven, I definitely would’ve stayed longer and hung out.
