My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, primarily due to poor service and the way a staff member handled a situation that was ultimately caused by the restaurant itself. When we arrived, we were seated and given QR codes to access the English menu. I ordered a dish called "Chicken Escalope." I had never had this dish before, so I did not know exactly what it should look like. My brother-in-law received his pizza first, and we encouraged him to start eating so it would not get cold. Some time later, the rest of our food arrived. When my dish was served, I noticed it contained cheese, which surprised me because I had not seen any mention of cheese in the menu description. I approached a waiter and explained the issue. One waiter immediately said it was no problem and that they would prepare a new dish. However, another waiter insisted that the menu clearly stated there was cheese in the dish. He showed me the menu, pointing to an Italian ingredient name. I explained that I could not read Italian and that the English menu had not made it clear to me. I returned to my table and opened the menu again to double-check. Before I had even had time to properly sit down, the same waiter approached me with his phone and once again showed me the menu to prove that cheese was included. At that point, I noticed the word "Parmesan" and apologized for my mistake. He responded with a rather smug smile and said it was fine and that they would prepare a new dish. The interaction left me feeling uncomfortable. While reviewing the menu more carefully, I then realized that the restaurant had actually prepared the wrong dish altogether. The dish they were remaking was not the one I had originally ordered. I immediately informed the waiter and showed him the correct item on the menu. He went back to the kitchen to correct the order. I then spoke to the waiter who had twice gone out of his way to prove that I was wrong about the cheese. I showed him that the restaurant had in fact received or prepared the wrong order. His response was simply, “OK.” I waited for some acknowledgment or apology, but none was offered. By the time my food finally arrived, everyone else at the table had nearly finished eating. Unfortunately, when I cut into the chicken, it was raw in the middle. As a result, I only ate the fries and shared some leftover pizza from the rest of the table. When it was time to pay, I showed the undercooked chicken to a waiter. He looked at it and apologized. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant. Orders can be mixed up, and dishes sometimes need to be remade. What I found most unacceptable was the attitude of the waiter who approached me multiple times to prove that I was mistaken, in front of my family, rather than simply helping resolve the situation. As a paying customer trying to enjoy a family dinner, I felt treated as though I needed to be corrected rather than assisted. What makes this especially disappointing is that when it became clear that the restaurant had actually made the mistake by preparing the wrong dish, that same waiter never apologized. Basic professionalism and customer service require acknowledging mistakes, and unfortunately that did not happen here. Between the incorrect order, the dismissive attitude, the excessive wait, and finally being served raw chicken, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I have had Price per person: €10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
