Delicious, varied kosher menu
Shwarma and cilantro over rice.
This has got to be the worst kosher restaurant I have ever tried in my life. I was here for the past few days and every single time the food was dry, bland and sometimes RAW! I started with the shawarma sandwich and I was utterly disappointed. It came extremely soggy with unfresh vegetables and bread that was so hard and dry you could break a tooth on it. The meat itself was tasteless and lacked seasoning making it bland and dry. In addition, the food came cold and it took way too long just for a cup of mayo. For dinner, I then had the BBQ Bacon Avocado Burger which looked good in the description, but didn't even come close to my expectations. The avocado was simply green mush and the bacon was dry and chewy. Fries left an awful taste in your mouth. My last meal was the grilled chicken sandwich which I don't even want to get started on. Came with soggy vegetables ruining the sandwich and the grilled chicken was impossible to swallow. Dry, over cooked, and bland were only some of the negatives. Overall, for a New York Kosher restaurant, I am very disappointed. Food was awful and the service was just as bad. If your looking to eat Kosher the next time you visit the Big Apple, just go to Bens and you'll have a much better experience, I promise. Mr. Broadway would not be my first choice.
