Super yummy, especially if it's a fresh batch! As someone who doesn't have a huge sweet tooth, the Berry (cherry) puffs were phenomenal. Staff member there today was also really sweet and patient!

I always loved mr puffs in Montréal and I was super excited when I learned they have a branch here in calgary, drove 40+kms to get to it lol

Mr. Puffs is a decent desert / sweet shop. Our order consisted of a 12 pack of puffs: Baklava and Speculoos for our flavours as well as a cheesy pastry. The good: The puffs are pretty tasty, the man serving us made us a fresh batch in about 10 mins. Pricing was pretty decent, costing about $10 pre tax for the 12 pack. The flavours were tasty and the puffs taste very similar to mini donuts which was a big plus for us. The bad: The cheese pastry was straight up awful. Very bland taste for the cheese and the fried shell was clearly made in the same fryers as the donuts, giving it a very distinct taste that didn’t pair well. The pastry had been sitting in their display case and had been heated up for us. The outer shell was warm but the cheese was cold, making a terrible texture and eating experience. We tried to stomach about half of the pastry between the two of us but ended up throwing it out. Overall a decent shop for a cheap dessert but I would recommend sticking to the puffs or just choosing an alternative desert place.
