Food was reasonable. Cocktail before dinner in the bar was pretty good. There is not much service though, you need to leave your table and walk through to the bar. The air con was so rediculously hot. They did make it cooler after everyone complained. OMG. I would give it another go one day. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

A group of older ladies looking forward to a long lunch. Food was so so. Most of my chips were still frozen and the chicken schnitzel was quite over cooked. Gluten free options for some of our party was confusing and most of the meal was left. Wait staff not interested in sorting it out. We asked to swap a couple of the chairs as they were ripped and stained. Staff looked around and told us to help ourselves. Not great customer service in this dear old pup in the heart of the rocks. Quite disappointing. We left and found a gorgeous cafe around the corner for desert, tea, coffee, scones and cake. The day ended well, but for the price of pretty ordinary cooked and presented food Mrs Jones Dining at The Orient is best to give a miss. Price per person: $40–60 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Dietary restrictions: No lactose free option. Gluten free menu made the meal quite small.
