Brought the family here for dinner and had a great experience. After watching all the social media on this place we definitely needed to give it a go. Food was well above average. The noodle dishes we ordered including the mee goreng and kwetiau were amazing. There was ‘wok hey’ present throughout the dish which really stands out. The beef in the dishes were slightly tough but still palatable. The hainan chicken rice was great and I would recommend it for children and toddlers. Rice had the aroma and taste of lemongrass which is great for children who don’t like plain white rice. Teh Tarik was slightly on the sweet side but it was strong so after drinking a bit, top it up with some water and it was just nice. It’s a small venue so make sure you either come in early or reserve if you have a big group. Definitely coming back for some soup noodles (bakso) and the nasi goreng. The most authentic and delicious Indonesian food. I’ve had many nasi gorengs in Perth but none beat Mrs Lim Kitchen. Not only is the food really good but the restaurant is very cleanly and tidy. Toilets are also available.
