The house salad was perfection, light, perfectly dressed, lemony with delicious Romano. The Rosemary focaccia was perfection. Lasagna was better than any I’ve ever had at a restaurant, with none of that heavy over-sweet sauce which can drag it into TV dinner land. Just light fluffy meaty layers with a fresh tomato sauce which complemented perfectly.
The garlicky lemon “Grandma’s potatoes” made me wish I had an Italian Gramma. The sauté on them was a perfect blend of all the best of olive oil and butter with a judiciously heavy garlic/lemon mix. Some great wine and beer and then finished it off with THE BEST HOMEMADE TIRAMISU EVAH.
Go try Mucci. It was SO. DARN. GOOD.
