Heya all i just wanted to finally leave a review as my experience at mugs n brush was awful unfortunately it was my sons first birthday here and the playground was okay my son loved it but the staff was disgusting everyone ignored me I was if I could have a cloth and some cleaning spray to clean up my sons mess every and I ignored like I wasn’t there talking to the old man making the coffees it made me feel so uncomfortable I had to call out for someone else that works there the assist me also not to mention I paid for a 2hour party and I was running 30 min late on my own party that got judged for it from the old lady at the entrance desk I have a fussy 12 month old off I’m gonna be late for something, the attitudes off you both are disgusting and makes the whole place feel uncomfortable , also your bathrooms are riddled with mold and is extremely unsafe for children and adults and the food I paid for wasn’t fresh and was off and had to chuck most of it in the bin I asked about it but again I got ignored by the old man you have working there. I would like to say thank you to the young girl that worked there she made the situation a little more brighter she just shouldn’t be apologising for the old man and old lady’s mess ups. Long story short this was by for the worst experience with my son for his FIRST BIRTHDAY and I ask you to do better hire people that are happy with here jobs and actually serve customers worst ad saddest experience we ended up going home and having a better experience Again My son did not have a good party. The staff ignored me throughout the whole time being there. I didn’t even bring up the entry fee as it wasn’t an issue and was a misunderstanding on my side and was easily paid for, but my phone died and had Mum pay for it. The fresh fruit and veggies you had weren’t fresh and tasted funky. So what? I came 30’mins late to my own party. It was myself, my son, his dad, and grandparents. It shouldn’t have been an issue with you if I’m managing the party. My issue though is your staff hire new people. Your customers service for all staff is terrible, and that all I ask you to listen to is it was disgusting and rude. You, your staff member, to ignore me but be okay to service other people. I wasn’t rude. I was nice the entire time. I just don’t understand your business and your staff and how you run a child’s play centre but be so bloody rude.

Hi Shian Its unfortunate you didnt have the experience you hoped for. Unsure about how the food could have been old as the young girl made all your food fresh that morning, and and she had it ready for your arrival. You personally complimented Kahlani although your mum said she didnt like the spices, but that was her own preference (her words..) You also took some food home? You did speak to Hannes, and while doing so Kahlani came out to help you, as you were running an hour late with your booked party, which you chose to self manage. I will investigate further to your claims as we have literally just passed a health inspection a week prior, so unsure how there could have been mould and yet be approved fit for use by the health department. I do understand you were upset by having to pay entry for your son, as the entry fee was not included in the platter pricing. You have only paid for the food, you did not pay entry fees. We are happy to hear your son had a great party!

It’s about time this place was shut down! If I could give less than one star I would. The play area looks grubby, old and most safety mats etc are ripped. It generally feels unclean and not cared for. The screw somebody previously complained about is still sticking out if the floor causing a hazard. Many surfaces had inch thick dust as side areas of the playground. I was disappointed as this place has potential but unfortunately the lack of up keep shoes and should be clearly refurbished or just shut down. Such a shame

Hi Good mummy We are not sure what you are referring to. Please let us know so that we can investigate it further? The screw has physically been grinded off a significant time ago so am not sure how it can still exist?? We literally presure cleaned and washed the structure, which is more than other centres do, to remove dirt. Should you have any concerns, please come and talk to us so that we know where and what about what your concerns are :)

We visited today Sunday 14/06 with my 4½ year old son. It was veeeery busy and very noisy, too crowded and not enough seating. They should have a capacity limit and not allow too many people in. The worst part and the most disturbing thing for me was the huge amount of warning signage they had EVERYWHERE!!! It was very overwhelming and very off-putting, it was like they didn't want us to be there! They should have one or two big signage boards outlining all the rules of the playcentre and not thousands of A4 posters in every possible space. We pay money to be there with our children and we don't want to be told off, we're there to have fun! On another note the food was very yummy except the chips had too much salt and the girls behind the counter and on the floor were lovely. The owners should visit other similar/bigger playcentres, especially NOR, to see how they look and how they display their signage and hopefully it can improve.

Hi Roberta Thank you for visiting us anf for your feedback - we will tske that onboard. Regarding the warning signs, I wish we didnt have to put up ANY signs and people would follow the rules as outlined on the two boards we already have. Unfortunately this doesnt happen so we do have to remind people everywhere, otherwise on the flip side, they say they never knew about it. Have a great week, Elanie
