Our favourite cafe in Folkestone! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Often part of community driven programmes. Excellent flat whites (other drinks too). Their toasted banana bread with yoghurt and compote is our favourite! Always having a good time going there. Absolutely recommended! Love Mugs! The staff are so friendly and always give your order the same care and attention whether there is a queue out of the door or it's a quieter period. Oatmilk is the only dairy alternative (spoiler alert all plant based milks are just water and ground up oats/almonds etc) but they have sourced a gluten free one. The gluten free bread option is not comparable to the tantalisingly tempting sourdough real bread but as I can't have that it is a very welcome change that a) they try their best to source gf options as close to "normal" bread as they can and b) still give a decent portion size. Other venues have a habit of being stingey on their serving size as its more expensive. The gluten free peanut cookies and gluten free orange and almond cake is amazing. Yes it is in a car park which you would think would be rather meh but the atmosphere inside more than makes up for the view, plus when the trees come into leaf you can almost forget about the car park.On top of all that the place is usually full of interesting creative folk and is a real community hub.
