My gosh, I have been going to this restaurant for 30 odd years and the same family have owned it all this time, I found out recently that they sold the restaurant which to me is a great concern. However I have received my order and found it to be nothing short of spectacular. I ordered the Aussie lamb cutlets but more importantly the TANDOORI JUMBO PRAWN, if the new owners keep this up they will keep me for a further 30 years. My mum has been dining at Mumtaz Mahal for over 20 years so it was a no brainer when we wanted Indian food tonight. The service is just the right mix of friendly and professional the owner Ravi makes the experience special, and the food is exceptional. I ordered a veg dish and all the vegetables had been prepared on site, at other Indian restaurants they have often used frozen veggies. Highly recomend this place for authentic Indian food in a friendly relaxed environment.
