Muniyandi Vilas in Paris offers authentic South Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine that will transport your taste buds to the streets of Madurai. Despite its small size, the eatery draws in a large crowd, so be prepared to wait for a table during peak hours. However, the waiting time for takeaway is minimal. The food is worth the wait, with dishes like parathas, kothu parotta, and biryani that are bursting with flavor. Prices are reasonable, making it an excellent option for budget-conscious diners. The establishment's interior design is simple but clean. The service is friendly and efficient, with staff members always ready to assist you in choosing from the extensive menu. The location is not in the most glamorous neighborhood, but it's worth the trip for the delicious food. Vegetarian options are available. Don't miss out on the finger-licking spicy chicken curry and the heavenly cheese nan. The establishment does not serve alcohol, but they have a variety of soft drinks and teas to choose from. Overall, Muniyandi Vilas is a fine dining spot that offers an affordable taste of India and Sri Lanka in the heart of Paris.

Their authentic Indian and Sri Lankan dishes cater primarily to the local expat community, offering flavors that transport me back to the subcontinent. While the spice levels can vary, it's best to check your tolerance before ordering. Overall, it's a hidden gem that satisfies my cravings for familiar, unadulterated flavors in a city far from home.
