Best place in Akasaka for Yakitori lunch! There is only one cook doing everything! Lunch time you have Yakitori and Oyakodon as menu which comes with pickles and egg soup as side dishes. They only accept cash, and it’s very cheaper just 1300¥ for the set meal. A small local joint serving up rice bento boxes of charcoal grilled pheasant with pickles on the side, hot soup and tea. An affordable meal at $1300JPY, cash only. Get there at 11:30AM at opening because it fills in very quickly with locals. The restaurant is run by the chef himself, so be patient. He is literally cooking every meal as well as cashiering. Superb flavors! The rice is a bit softer but it is perfect for the purpose of sopping up sauce and being easily eaten with chopsticks. Highly highly recommend!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm glad Murashima made his pheasant debut 1,300 yen for ``Kami-Omori''. However, Kanara's cost performancesoup is also great!
