Muro is pretty near Takenomu Inari Shrine. Clients don't like seafood at this restaurant. Many people find that the staff is terrific at this place. Good service is something that guests would like to improve here. The charming atmosphere gladdens visitors and attracts more clients. But Muro is not highly estimated by Google users who assigned it a below average rating.

Very disappointed. We visited in June 2023 without reservation. Impressed by the relaxed vibe and comfortable food, thus recommended to quite some friends. They got the same experience as well. That's why we decided to take our parents here in their first visit in Kyoto. We tried to make a reservation one day before our visit through the hotel concierge, and got the response that we can go directly. We definitely checked comments on Google Map, but we chose to trust our earlier expierence. And we were failed. They just told us it's full today and even don't want us to wait outside. I fully agree that Muro is now not a restaurant for travellers. Go eat something else guys. Don't waste your time.
