On 07/09/24, My sister & I called into Murphys Bar & Restaurant in Downpatrick for dinner. When we arrived, a member of staff, showed us to our table & showed us the menu. We also ordered a drink each & then gave the waiter our order. The service was very quick & we didn't have to wait for long till we were seated. Murphys Bar & Restaurant is in Market Street in Downpatrick & is easy to find. It's well worth a visit if you're out for the day in Downpatrick & are thinking of getting some lunch or dinner. Enjoyed the food, staff very good. Just one negative, the lighting is poor at/over the tables, difficult to read menu and see food on the plate! Couldn't tell if it looked appetising so that is a negative and others in the group got their phone out to use the torch.

A welcome place for a meal after a long day out!
Irish Stew would have been a good item on the menu.
