A MICHELIN star: cuisine of great finesse. Worth the step!

The chef leads his team of cooks like the lead goose guiding its flock in flight. Clad in red armbands and snow-white kitchen uniforms, the kitchen team embodies the spirit of Japan. The accent on vegetables echoes the chef’s experience in shojin-ryori, the vegetarian regimen of Buddhist monks... More info

We still think about this restaurant with so much joy and genuine affection. It was, without question, the most memorable Michelin-star experience we have ever had. Since visiting, we have been to several other Michelin-starred restaurants in the world, but none of them have come close to what we experienced here. The level of harmony, precision, and warmth is still unmatched in our eyes. Sitting at the counter gave us a front-row view of the kitchen, and it was beautiful to watch. Seeing the chef team work so seamlessly together, with calm focus and real connection, added so much to the experience. It felt personal, intentional, and deeply crafted. We have recommended this restaurant to all our friends and family who went to Japan and they have all shared the same thoughts and experience. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you for such an unforgettable evening. See you soon, Team Mutsukari. Greetings from The Netherlands Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very welcoming restaurant with a very good level of service and attention however, one server should take greater care of personal hygiene. Food was below expectations, technically very good, but bland and lacking cohesion in the menu. I would advise that they pay greater attention to the flavour of the food and the smaller details, such as not leaving cling film in meals, rather than the skill of cooking methods.
